Normally the Royal Danish Library reduces its activities over the summer, but this year we are actually increasing our activities: The Black Diamond opens its doors wide open and launches a new summer season for both Copenhageners on "staycation" and this year's first tourists: A brand new Friday bar with music and waterfront views, unique exhibitions with Nick Cave and Press Photo of the Year, and then a joining of literature and music in the Library Garden in August.

Café and shop

Quench your thirst and quench your appetite with the city's best views in the café. Buy unique notebooks or postcards with motifs from the library's collections as well as a large Cave selection in the store.
