Royal Danish Library is Denmark’s national library and a large and dynamic place of work. The library functions both as a leading cultural institution and as a central partner to the university libraries. 

More than 800 employees are dedicated to preserving and promoting our cultural heritage, as well as facilitating knowledge used for education, research, enlightenment and experiences. 

An an employee, you not only get to help make the Danish cultural heritage accessible to citizens, you also get to contribute to research and to the democratic development of society. Your colleagues are of course librarians and information specialists, but also architects, UX designers, graphic designers and event coordinators are part of the library's staff.

Every day, a wide audience visits the many locations affiliated with Royal Danish Library, and even more use the digital channels and services. The library is controlled by the Danish Ministry of Culture and has an annual turnover of DKK 650 million.
