Library Services and Partnerships
We provide library services to a wide range of local and national partners.
We collaborate with several educational and research institutions to operate and develop university libraries. These include partnerships with the University of Copenhagen, Roskilde University, the IT University of Copenhagen and the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
We are responsible for strategic development and operational responsibility of the library system, which is also used by universities, university colleges and other public institutions.
We are also responsible for managing and negotiating digital access to library materials for the majority of the country's cultural, educational and research institutions.
It is a strategic goal for us to contribute to international library development, act as a strategic library partner and overall link between actors in Denmark, and support national efforts for increased and open access.
We work with the following core areas:
- Information supply - including nota service and licensing service
- Digital education and teaching - including gender research services
- Research services - including Pure consortium and document services
- User service - including ask the library.
