Throughout the month of August, we offer a number of events and activities to create a summer atmosphere in the capital.

Summer atmosphere, poetry, statements and music at Bibliotekshaven LIVE
Time and place: 12, 19 and 26 August 2021 at 5-6 pm for free in the Library Garden.
We celebrate the open and free-spirited city of Copenhagen outside behind The Black Diamond. The summer stage returns with actors, speakers, musicians and poets who have written new poems for the garden. Buy refreshments in the café's pop-up bar during the event.

Secret hunt for children and families in the Library Garden
Free experience box sends the whole family on a secret hunt in the Library Garden behind the library. Meet a famous king, a pensive author and many more historical characters in between the garden's animals and plants. With various fun, surprising and exciting tasks, children can help reveal the garden's many secrets by using their imagination, creativity and senses.
The experience box can be picked up free of charge in the Black Diamond store during the library's opening hours.
