Siri Hustvedt (b. 1955) grew up in Minnesota with Norwegian-American parents.

She has a considerable back catalog consisting of novels and essay collections, translated into more than 30 languages. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Memories of the Future tells the story of a young woman from the mid-west and her first year in New York in the end of the 1970s.Minder om fremtiden
