Indsigten is a non-digital space for relaxation, with a focus on togetherness and a digital detox. With the option to lock away your phone, you can fully disconnect here. You can freely engage in creative activities, read magazines or listen to vinyl records.

Architecture

In Indsigten, you step behind the iconic bookcase that "leans against" the Book Tower across the library's four public floors. A deep green wall colour and the dark ceiling create a sense of calm and contrast with the library’s otherwise bright spaces. The interior design uses the same visual language as in the other areas, where oak and wool fabric are the dominant materials.

Activities

We host a wide range of events and activities in Indsigten, from creative workshops and literary talks to study-related events.

What are you allowed to do here?

In Indsigten, you are welcome to talk and eat, and you are encouraged to take off your shoes and relax.
We aim for Indsigten to be a screen-free space, which is why there are no power outlets.
