The high-backed sofas and curved floor create different zones that accommodate both study spaces and various physical activities. As a break from your studies, you can play table football, table tennis, PlayStation games, or board games in Tænkepausen.
Architecture
The different spacial qualities of Tænkepausen are shaped by a distinctive oak floor, whose organic form is reminiscent of an oak leaf from the University Park. Between the circular patterns in the floor, you will find study spaces and areas defined by wool curtains. On the back wall of Tænkepausen, the lower part of the library's iconic four-story bookcase forms a backdrop staying and relaxing. In the built-in seating niches, you can retreat and enjoy a quiet moment.
What can you do here?
In the informal area of Tænkepausen, you are allowed to both talk and eat.
