There is no charge for obtaining materials from within Denmark, but materials obtained from overseas can sometimes cost a fee.

We can help you obtain materials from other libraries - also known as interlibrary loan service.

There is no charge for materials obtained from within Denmark.
This applies to all users.

Materials obtained from overseas may be subject to a charge.
Please see below to find out whether charges apply to you.

Materials obtained from overseas are free of charge for

  • Public libraries
  • Students and staff at KU, AU, RUC and ITU
    (However, this does not apply to theses, dissertations and similar works. These are supplied at cost price, and you will always be informed of any charges before we proceed with the request.)
  • AUH employees

Materials obtained from overseas cost DKK 100 per item for

  • Private users
  • Research libraries
  • Medical libraries
  • CUH employees
  • Research institutions
  • Government authorities

Materials obtained from overseas cost DKK 200 per item for

  • Companies

Materials obtained from abroad are free of charge for

  • Public libraries
  • Students and employees at KU, AU, RUC and ITU
    (However, this does not apply to theses and the like. These are settled at cost price, and as a user you will always be informed of this before we start the order.)
  • AUH employees

Materials from abroad cost 125 DKK per material for

  • Private users
  • Research libraries
  • Medical subject libraries
  • CUH employees
  • Research institutions
  • Governmental authorities

Materials from abroad cost 250 DKK per material for

  • Companies
