Search our digitised drawings

On Kunstbib.dk you can search the digital architectural drawings. So far we have scanned 56.000 with the addition of 6000 new scans each year. This gives you direct access to all the material that is available digitally. The library has scanned approximately 6500 architecture photographs, 215 architectural models, and 200 Sketchbooks.

Search our physical collections

Using the search field at the top of the page, you can search for both the architect's name, projects and topography, as well as searches of a more systematic nature.

All architectural drawings, architectural models, archives and sketchbooks can be searched, both the digitised and non-digitised parts. The physical drawings can be ordered and viewed in the study room in Søborg.

Could not find what you were looking for?

If you are looking for architectural photography, that cannot be found in the library system, please write to Ask the Library. Note down which structures you are interested in, and we will do our best to help you. We are currently digitising the collection and the first batch will be online in early 2020. The library has a large collection of Danish architecture photographs, which is not registered electronically.

The library has digitised the registrant Central registrant for architectural drawings, which may be of help when finding architectural drawings - outside our collections as well. The central registrant was created in a collaboration between The Danish National Art Library, The Danish National Archives and the National Museum of Denmark. Primarily drawings that are quite old are registered here.
