Paloma Pradal Quartet (ES)

Experience Paloma Pradal's great voice and fantastic energy when she unleashes the flamenco in the Queen's Hall together with her quartet.

It has almost become tradition that the Spanish singer and dancer Paloma Pradal occupies the Queen's Hall during the jazz festival. Once again this year you have the chance to experience her amazing energy, voice and presence! Here with her new quartet.

Flamenco and other styles

Paloma Pradal was born into the flamenco tradition on her mother's side, and is one of the great singers in her genre. Paloma sings of freedom, and as a member of the Pradal family, she carries with her an important Spanish cultural heritage, where rebellion and art are essential.

Based on her flamenco background, in recent years she has "lent" her great voice to other styles of music: hip hop, jazz, African music and Spanish classical. For this concert, she will present some of her own compositions, a timeless universe that lies off the beaten track, but with a clear touch of Paloma's background.

Participants

Paloma Pradal, vocals

Nicholas Vella, piano
