The first day of Music Festival Days 2026 begins with a festive welcome in the Atrium.
Afterwards there will be concerts throughout the building from 5.30-8.00 pm
The day ends at 8.00 pm with a concert performance of The Little Prince, featuring Søren Sætter-Lassen as storyteller and the festival’s participants as the ensemble. The music is by Schumann, Prokofiev, Saint-Saëns, Pärt and others.

Saint-Exupéry’s timeless tale brought to life in a concert performance featuring the exceptional actor and storyteller Søren Sætter-Lassen, alongside highlights from the rich repertoire of classical music, performed by artists appearing at Music Festival Days in The Black Diamond.

Mozart wrote an astonishing amount of beautiful music during his short life. Despite its ‘nickname’, this string quartet is equally unmistakably one of his works.
