Origin: Where Music and Words Create Each Other

On Thursday 1 October, the Reading Room opens its doors to Århus Sinfonietta and poet Anne Green Munk as part of 'Behind the Culture'.

The poetry moves through a landscape of sounds, creating a shared space for contemplation –a place where meaning is not only understood rationally, but also experienced.

The concert is an invitation to listen in a new way: to hear the rhythm of language and the music’s storytelling as two sides of the same coin. Here, there are no sharp genres distinctions – only a smooth motion between sound and meaning, between thought and tone.

The concert begins with a talk featuring poet Anne Green Munk and the participating musicians, where the audience is invited into the creative process. A concert is performed afterwards, where music and words are intertwined to create a new whole.

The concert is part of 'Behind the Culture'.
