Guided tour: Press Photo of the Year

ANNUAL PASS HOLDERS ONLY – Go on a tour of the Press Photo of the Year 2025 with chairman of the Press Photographers Association Sisse Stroyer and experience the year's most moving, dramatic, and thought-provoking press photographs.

Discover the most moving, dramatic, and thought-provoking press photographs of the year – the images that captured moments we will never forget.

Last year, the winning photographer Mads Nissen told us about his encounter with history when he stood in the middle of the events, while Queen Margrethe handed over the throne to King Frederik. This year, the tradition continues with new, powerful stories behind the camera. The exhibition brings together the best images from the Press Photo of the Year competition, divided into around 18 categories – from Press Photographer of the Year and News Photo of the Year to Sports Photo of the Year and Denmark.

The tour is led by Sisse Stroyer, president of the Danish Press Photographers Association, in the company of this year's winner. Together they guide us through the exhibition and share the fascinating stories behind the motifs – about the crucial seconds when the image was created, and about the reality that the photograph captures. There will also be time for questions along the way, so you can get a rare insight into the everyday lives of press photographers: their choices, their courage, and the challenges they face in their pursuit of the truth – one image at a time.
