We offer guided tours of The Black Diamond, Copenhagen and at Victor Albecks Vej, Aarhus (Book Tower). Experience the buildings and atmosphere, and hear stories about the architecture and collections.

Guided tours of The Black Diamond, Copenhagen
Public tour
We invite you for a guided tour every Monday at 3 p.m.
The tour takes place in both Royal Danish Library's newer building, The Black Diamond, and in the older part of the library, the Holm and Hansen buildings. The tour will tell you about the architecture, history, cultural activities and the work of Royal Danish Library.

- Duration: 1 hour
- Number of participants: Up to 25 people
Prices
- Adults DKK 120
- Young people under 27 years old DKK 60
- There is no charge for young people under 18 years of age and Diamond Club members.
The price includes free admission to exhibitions in the building.
Tickets can be purchased online or in the store at The Black Diamond.
Private tour
The library tour

The Diamond Tour
The tour goes through The Black Diamond, the library's spectacular extension from 1999.

- Duration: 30 minutes
- Number of participants: Maximum 20 people per group and a maximum of three groups at a time

- Monday-Friday until 5 p.m.: DKK 1,475.
- Monday-Friday after 5 p.m. and Saturdays: DKK 1,750.
The price includes free admission to exhibitions in the building.

Public tour
Open Book Tower takes place in connection with Aarhus Festuge (Aarhus Festival Week).
On the tour we will talk about the library's history and collections, the architecture and the study environment, and take a look at the view from the Book Tower.

Private tour

The visit can be combined with lunch or coffee/tea and cake in the library canteen.
