TREASURES in Royal Danish Library

Permanent exhibition of treasures in Royal Danish Library.

An exhibition with library's most precious, beautiful, significant, and valuable treasures. From the oldest of manuscripts to the Internet's ever increasing digital cultural heritage.

Explore gems from the collections of science, philosophy, cartography, music, and much more – or take a peek into the lives of a number of prominent Danes by reading Søren Kierkegaard's letter to his fiancé, Karen Blixen's own manuscript, or Hans Christian Andersen's diary.

Treasure expedition in the exhibition – for children and their adults

As something special, children and their adults can go on expeditions in the exhibition together. Here you must research, explore and talk about your own treasures. Along the way, you use expedition material such as a flashlight, activity map and treasure chest and find not just one, but many treasures.

Pick up the free expedition material in the Diamond's shop.

The exhibition is also disseminated to children with a whole children's communication track, so that even the youngest can experience and understand Denmark's great treasures. You will find the children's texts on the iPad closest to the treasure.
