Royal Danish Library is zooming in on photography in contemporary art with the exhibition Photography Now! in The Black Diamond. On 10 September, you can join the opening ceremony and be among the first to view the exhibition.
Photography Now! examines the role of photography in contemporary art at this very moment. In collaboration with five Danish galleries, Royal Danish Library presents artists who work with photography across mediums, technologies and forms of expression. The exhibition shows how photography continues to shape our view of the world.
At the exhibition opening, you can meet the five galleries, V1 Gallery, Martin Asbæk Gallery, Galleri Nicolai Wallner, Galleri Image and Oblong, in a panel discussion about what characterises photography in art right now.
On the same day
LIVE in the Library Garden – Bella Leonette, Christine Kærulv, Stine Stengade and Bente Halkier
