It costs nothing to participate in The Magic of the Night.
The activity is on one's own initiative and can be used in all of The Black Diamanten's opening hours.
You participate by picking up the material from the library shop in The Black Diamante.
The Magic of the Night is aimed at children aged 5-10, but all children are welcome to participate.
When night is falling at The Black Diamond, the library's stories awaken.
The girl Evi has gone to work at the library with her father. She has promised to stay in the office and sleep, but when night falls, her curiosity becomes too much. Together with the friendly night guard Madsen, she embarks on a magical journey of discovery through the library.
With a magic bag in hand, you follow Evi's adventures around the impressive architecture of The Black Diamond. Along the way, you will meet, among others, Hans Christian Andersen, Karen Blixen and Tycho Brahe – but not quite as you know them. In The Magic of the Night, the story takes a quirky and playful turn, when the historical figures appear in new, surprising and perhaps a little crazy sides of themselves. Because perhaps, history holds more surprises than we think.
The Magic of the Night is a sensuous and atmospheric storytelling tour, where children and adults together explore the library's magical universe, the architecture and encounter the history.
A fantastic experience for the whole family – especially for children aged 5–10.
