Inger Christensen
Inger Christensen (1935-2009) is a giant in Danish literature, especially as a poet, where poetry collections such as Det (1969), Alfabet (1981) and Sommerfugledalen (1991) stand as unparalleled highlights of language and poetry. Both in Denmark and in other countries, there is a buzz about her writing, whose tone and technique are in a category of their own.
Klaus Rothstein talks about Inger Christensen's position in Danish literature, and together we delve into her original manuscripts, which we have retrieved from Royal Danish Library's magazines for today's occasion.
