The third day of Music Festival Days 2026 is dedicated to children and their families. Admission is free for children on this day.

This year's theme is around the world in classical music.

From 10 am to 3 pm, the programme features concerts and workshops, including the Little Composers project, based on the idea that everyone can compose music. Also experience an arund the world concert with Mathias Hammer and Trio con Brio Copenhagen, and a concert with Michala Petri, NOVO Quartet, and Xu Qiling from China, who plays the traditional Chinese instrument, the erhu.

Throughout the day, there will also be a series of short performances by Xu Ziling, Michala Petri, Anna Klett, and Soo-Jin and Soo-Kyung Hong. Each musician plays a different instrument, giving children and their adults the chance to experience the music up close.

The concerts take place in the Queen's Hall and the Children's Library, Royal Danish Library's dedicated space for children, which is open every Sunday.
