Letter-writing Concert – Love
Turn off your phone, turn on your senses and indulge in the intimate space of letter-writing - perhaps with someone you think is cute? We'll be writing love letters in the Old Reading Room this evening in March.
We do not have many spaces left in our everyday lives which invite focus and contemplation: A place where you can gather your thoughts and let them manifest on a piece of paper. When darkness descends over Copenhagen, Royal Danish Library invites you to a letter-writing concert, where we provide a calm atmosphere under the glow of green lamps in our beautiful The Old Reading Room.
Live ambient music will create the soundscape for your letter, so take a sip of wine, grab your pen, and seize the moment.
Once the thoughts are recorded and the love letter written, DAO will send it for you.

Jonas Egholm
Guitarist Jonas Egholm is one of Denmark's greatest talents in classical music. Egholm has received great recognition both at home and abroad and has won several competitions and awards for his guitar-playing. Egholm made his debut from the Royal Danish Academy of Music's Soloist Class in 2023. He has also studied at the prestigious "Máster en Interpretación de Guitarra" in Alicante with some of the world's leading guitarists (David Russell, Ricardo Gallén, Ignacio Rodés and many more). In 2022 he released his debut album, which was named "Album of the Week" on P2, just as Egholm himself was "P2 Talent of the Year 2023".
