BETWEEN VOICES welcomes you to an author conversation with Anna Juul about 'Sød Tøs' and Louise Juhl Dalsgaard's 'Skyggehjerte', when they explore 'the strength in vulnerability' theme in conversation with moderator Lise Vandborg.
In both novels, we follow a young female character who, when her boundaries are crossed, has difficulty speaking up, in a friendship group and a relationship, respectively.
The conversation with the two authors will focus on the dynamics between people, psychological violence, and relationships that suddenly change.
As a prelude to the author conversation, you can take part in BETWEEN VOICES' reading club the week before, where we invite you to a cosy and informal conversation about the two books based on the theme ‘the strength in vulnerability’.
About BETWEEN VOICES
BETWEEN VOICES is a new social literature initiative that puts reading at eye level. In this, Royal Danish Library, in collaboration with Aarhus Centre for Literature, invites you to a series of cozy, inspiring and informal conversations about literature. The events will be themed reading clubs and author conversations that deal with current issues. Each reading club will revolve around two books related to an overarching theme, which in the following week will be explored in a moderated conversation with the authors behind the works.
