On Saturday 2 July 2022 from 9-12, locals, Tour fans and visitors can try the 13 km Tour route. This will take place the day after the professional cyclists have ridden the first Tour de France stage in Copenhagen.
Summer on Søren Kierkegaards Plads
This summer, Søren Kierkegaard Square will be transformed into a green oasis from 1 July to 7 August 2022.
Livestream of stage 2
From around 12-13, stage 2 will be livestreamed. It's the Tour de France 2nd stage, which goes from Roskilde to Nyborg and among other things leads the peloton over exotic cycling destinations like Côte de Høve Stræde and the Storebælt bridge!
Cheer on Tour de Kbh from Søren Kierkegaards Plads
Tour de Kbh route naturally passes by Søren Kierkegaards Plads, so come by and cheer on the everyday cycling heroes from the big fan zone by the harbour.
Tour de Copenhagen is a celebration of everyday cycling in the world's best cycling city, and exceptionally the single start route will be closed to all other traffic. With Tour de København, the City of Copenhagen invites everyone to hop on their bikes and experience a car-free city dressed in yellow. Participation is free and no registration is required.
Søren Kierkegaards Plads is the hop on/hop off point, and you can therefore start or finish your own route here.
Free admission to exhibitions in the Diamanten
In addition to the live stream on Søren Kierkegaards Plads, you can also experience Diamanten's three current exhibitions free of charge. Royal Library gives free access to both the special exhibition LEE MILLER - Photographer. Icon. Surrealist. and the two permanent exhibitions The Camera and Us - Human in Photographs 1839-2021 and TREASURES in Royal Danish Library. Ask at the Diamond Shop for a ticket.

- Events at Søren Kierkegaards Plads are free to attend. Everyone is welcome - including children.
- Food and drink: You can buy food and drinks at the square. Please leave the grill at home.
- Toilets: Toilets are available at the square.
- Bathing: Bathing is not allowed at Søren Kierkegaards Plads. We refer to the Wave at Kalvebod Brygge, 500 metres from the site.
