Come and join in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Danish jazz! On three Fridays in the summer sun you can hear established names and young talents in a sublime selection from the styles of jazz. Enjoy a cold drink and get in the summer mood in front of The Black Diamond.
Danish quintet with a boundary-pushing approach to music
Award-winning vibraphonist and composer Viktoria Søndergaard leads her dream band SECRETS. A collective, playful, and boundary-pushing project where jazz, rap, chamber music, and Scandinavian tone come together in a sensual whole.
In SECRETS improvisation and poetry meet in an organic whole, as the Carl Prize 2025 described: “The music is full of imagination, life-affirming joy and the desire to make dreams come true.”
The album Music of Secrets has been hailed as “an artistic highlight in Danish jazz” (Blue in Green Radio) and “music of ruthless intimacy” (Jazzthing). SECRETS is not just a band, but a musical confession and an invitation to listen with the heart.

On three Fridays in June and July you can enjoy the afternoon sun on the waterfront in front of The Black Diamond, where we offer a jazzy Friday bar. In front of the Black Diamond, you have a front row seat to experience the characteristic Copenhagen summer life in the harbour canal, with music in your ears.
The café's pop-up bar serves wine, draft beer, cold drinks, snacks, light meals and a summer atmosphere.
The concerts start at 4 p.m. and last until 6 p.m.
The concert is part of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
