You can find books by a simple search in the library system. Search by title, subject or author.
You can then filter your search results further or perform advanced searches. You can find more help with your search here: Search help
For example, search by title, subject or author
Find rare books
Royal Danish Library's rare books are located in many different collections. Rare books can be found in the historic book collections, in Danish collections, in foreign older collections, in the various university library collections and in the Art Library.
In the library system, when you view the search results, you can narrow down the results by using the facet “special collections.” You can search by both printer and bookbinder as originators, and in advanced search you can search by “previous owner.”
We have free access to the digitisations of Danish books printed before 1601 (via Early European Books) from all Danish IP addresses.
