Find rare books
Royal Danish Library's rare books are distributed across many different collections. There are rare books in book history collections, in Danish collections, in foreign older collections, in the various university library collections and in the Art Library.
In the library system, when you view the search results, you can narrow down using the facet “special collections.” You can search by both printer and bookbinder as originators, and in advanced search you can search by “previous owner.”
There is free access to the digitisations of Danish books printed before 1601 (via Early European Books) from all Danish IP addresses.
