Royal Danish Library offers a reading salon in our beautiful, historic Old Reading Room, where you, in the company of other readers, can delve into the book beckoning you on the bookshelf that you have never had the time to get started on.
Everyone is welcome – except the blue light of the screens. We are replacing smartphones with crackling pages in a tribute to the uninterrupted moment of immersion. Something that becomes increasingly desirable in a time focused on screens. We provide a warm, calm and relaxed atmosphere, you provide the literature. And if you need a book to get started with, The Diamond's shop sells a good selection.
