The Creative Library - Gækkebreve

Bring your siblings, friends and adults for creative fun in The Black Diamond's workshop.

At the workshop, you can make your own artwork together with visual artist Ann Louise Andersen. We have been in the library's archives and found beautiful and fascinating old books, which we are inspired by and work from. All workshops are drop-in events, and it takes approximately 30 minutes to participate, but feel free to stay longer. So get your inner artist ready and come by.

This time you can be inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beautiful paper clips and make your own gækkebreve, those mischievous letters we send each other at Easter. It will not be any ordinary gækkebrev either, because we will make them out of fabric. Remember the name and address of those you want to write the letter to - and we will send the letter for you.

The event is for children aged 5-12 and their adults - and is of course free.
