The Children's Library: Make your own dream herbs
In our children's universe, which is open every Sunday, you can explore the magical world of books and immerse yourself in creative workshops with room for fun for the whole family.
Come to the Children's Library, where we do activities in the creative workshop. This time, all children can make their own bag and fill it with special herbs. Inspired by the witch Danni Druehyld's recipe, we make an herbal mix that can be placed under the pillow and give good dreams.
In addition, you will always be able to delve into our collection of special children's books, dress up, play games or explore the library with, for example, our Diamond Hunt or explore the new magic exhibition. There are always children's hosts from the library present to guide you through the activities and children's offers. Read much more about it all below.
Practical information
It is free for all children and their adults to participate in The Children's Library. The activities are primarily aimed at children aged 3-11, but all children are welcome.
The Children's Library is located in the Galley Hall. You can get to the Galley Hall directly from the library entrance in the Library Garden. If you come through the main entrance to The Black Diamond, follow the signs through the building or ask the staff in the shop for directions. If you are coming with a stroller, use the entrance in the Library Garden.
Food can be purchased at The Black Diamond's café. Food brought in can be enjoyed in the small dining area in the Galley Hall or outside in the Library Garden.
