Royal Danish Library is Denmark's national library and university library.

A wide range of projects and activities, e.g. conservation and digitization to concerts, exhibitions and lectures, are carried out with the support of foundations, business partners and sponsors.

Read more about the different different forms of support and cooperation:

A partnership with Royal Danish Library is a collaboration on a shared project or activity that creates great value and good branding opportunities for both parties - with room for self-interest.

Previously, we have entered into a great number of partnership agreements, including partnerships with Danmarks Radio, Golden Days, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Kristeligt Dagblad and Politiken, Informations Forlag and Gyldendal.

If you have any suggestions for a specific collaboration, you are welcome to contact us.

At Royal Danish Library, we have a long history of sponsorship agreements. We emphasize that a sponsorship agreement is a mutual collaboration between us and the sponsor and must create value for both parties.

A sponsorship collaboration can be anything from granting a lump sum to e.g. a project, an exhibition or a series of lectures, to multi-annual support for a special area of activity.

Royal Danish Library receives significant support from foundations for various different projects. Grants are crucial to our continued realisation of a long range of events and projects.

Grants from foundations will be mentioned in relevant places as arranged e.g. on programmes, posters and brochures, kb.dk or in relation to a presentation of the supported project.
