Author: Bent Lerbæk PedersenTaoism (Daoism) is an important philosophy and religion, which has got a renaissance in mainland Kina today. In Hong Kong and on Taiwan the religion has been worshiped withour break for many decades.
The Library has books and journals both in Western languages and in Chinese including some few
in Japanese and Korean
The most important sources can be located in REX:
- Daozang (Taoist canon). Shanghai: Hanfenlou, 1923-26. Index to the titles in: Daozang suoyin and on the homepage: Taotsang
- Daozang jiyao (a collection af taoist texts). Taibei: Kaozheng, 1971 (25 vols.)
- Zangwai daoshu (more Taoist texts). Chengdu: Bashu shushe, 1992-94 (36 vols.) The different texys can be located in REX
- Zhongguo daojiao kaogu (Taoist archaeological materials in China). Beijing: Xianzhuang, 2006 (6 vols.)
