Features in Focus

The collections of The Royal Library make it possible to focus more intensively on a number of subjects. Some of these topics were originally treated in exhibitions in the Black Diamond, whereas others have only been displayed on the internet. Whatever the medium, such featured topics have in common the exposure of materials to inspire deeper understanding of their potential as keys to our cultural heritage.

The web exhibition Treasures in the Royal Library is the digital counterpart to the exhibition that could be seen in the Black Diamond from 18 September 2003 to 30 December 2004. One of the advantages of the digital exhibtion is the fact that it is still open to the public.
