The Far Eastern collections have only a few manuscripts, but many printed books (monographs and journals), including blockprints, microfilms, AV-materials and a small collection of objects related to the art of the Far Eastern book.

Search for printed books in the online catalogue REX . Use Latin letters in transcription.

The Centre for Orientalia and Judaica (COJ) has a reference collection with books in Oriental and Western languages.
This reference collection can be located in REX by a search in the field: Shelfmark - with the search terms: Center for Orientalia og Judaica.

Manuscripts and blockprints may only be used in the Centre for Manuscripts and Rare Books, where the catalogues are located. Some few materials are only to be located from lists kept in the Department of Orientalia and Judaica.

The collections consist of works in Chinese (including some Chinese dialects), Japanese and Korean.
