Lending period: 1 month.

All manuscripts and older published theatre texts, which for security reasons may be consulted only in the reading rooms of The Royal Library, must be ordered via the REX online catalogue.

Theatre texts, which may be lent to theatre institutions and acting schools, must also be ordered via REX.

Professional theatres

Professional theatres can order items from the collections by using the application form. The Study collection of theatre texts on the open shelves in the Reading Room West are available without prior order.

Copying

Any reproduction or publishing of copied materials must conform with the general copyright rules for unpublished materials and be credited to the Drama Collection ofThe Royal Library as the original source. Copyright rules for copying unpublished materials are valid until 70 years after the death of the author. When copies of unpublished manuscripts are being granted these are only for private use.
