Digital Western Manuscripts in the Collections of The Royal Library: The 17th and 18th Centuries

As part of The Royal Library’s work on making available selected parts of its collections on the Internet the Manuscript Department publishes complete digital facsimile editions of selected manuscripts.

Of the many thousand manuscripts from the 17. and 18. centuries a number of famous works of Danish as well as foreign origin have been prioritised for digital publication. Among these should be mentioned Guaman Poma’s Inka Chronicle, Leonora Christina’s French autobiography, Philip Georg Friedrich von Reck’s drawings from Georgia, Jens Baggesen’s diaries and G.L. Lahde’s albums.
