Special user group: Actors and Theatre directors

The Drama Collection in the Music and Theatre Department is the main library for serving Danish theatre.

Professional actors, students at the acting schools, and theatre directors can here find a rich collection of drama texts for their particular needs. For students at the acting schools a special Studiesamling of some 500 theatre texts is available at open shelves in the Reading Room West.

There are special rules for the  Lending period and use of the material as well as for Copying .

The collection includes Danish theatre texts (both manuscripts and in published form) dating from the beginning of the 18th century and to our day.

New foreign drama texts published in the major European languages are purchased. The Drama Collection thus also offers a rich selection of the most recently published international plays.
