Regulations for employees at Aarhus University Hospital

§1 Registration

Registration as a user is done by self-service via the library's website. It is a prerequisite for registration that the user has a valid e-mail address.

§2 Use

Material for borrowing

You can order material for borrowing for pick-up at your desired collection point.

You can also choose to have material for borrowing delivered to your workplace with Personal Delivery.

Non-circulatory material

Non-circulatory material from Royal Danish Library- Copenhagen can be ordered for use at the Research reading room in The Black Diamond

Non-circulatory material from Royal Danish Library - Aarhus can be ordered for use at the Reading room on Victor Albecks Vej

Non-circulatory material from Roskilde University Library can be ordered for use in the Reading room at Roskilde University Library

Interlibrary loan

Interlibrary loans (DK/abroad) are free.

§3 Loan period

The loan period is usually one month, unless otherwise stated. The maximum loan period is one year. Loans are automatically renewed if the material is not reserved by another user.

§4 Recalls and suspension

A reminder is sent before the return date and three recall notices after the due date via e-mail. There is no recall notice fee. The employee's loan, order and renewal rights are suspended if the material is not returned before the third recall notice.

The employee is blocked if there are amounts due of 200 DKK and more.

Applicable rates are stated in the loan periods and fees.

§5 Liability for damages

The employee is personally responsible for the loan from the time it is lent until it is returned in the library's lending system. The compensation case, which includes the book's price and collection fee of 150 DKK, is placed under Fees in the employee's account.
