Composition: 1866.

The autograph for this work was contained in the manuscript for "Studier og Novelletter", but Hartmann expressly stated that he wanted the piece and "Andante Cantabile" (HartW 111) copied into a separate album. This never happened, but instead the pieces were published in "Musikblade udgivne af Foreningen Fremtiden.".

Written in brown ink. Paper: 12 staves. With minor corrections. Above the music Hartmann has written "NB udskrives for sig i et aparte Hefte som No 2 med Stykket i Es dur pag 17" (NB. To be copied in a separate volume as No 2 together with the E flat piece on p. 17).

On pp. 6-7 in the manuscript to "Studier og Novelletter" (HartW 109).
