The Black Diamond, Galley Hall

The Galley Hall is named after the galley house which was part of Christian IV's naval port (now transformed into the Library Garden). It is the very oldest part of the library's current buildings on Slotsholmen.

The Galley Hall frames the educational services that the library offers to primary schools and youth programmes on weekdays.

At weekends and during school holidays, the Galley Hall opens its doors to children, who can take part in creative workshops, games, activities and events inspired by the library's collections of cultural heritage.
