The Swedish journalist Matilda Gustavsson, who exposed the sex scandals connected to the Swedish Academy, visits The Black Diamond on 20 October. We livestream to a number of public libraries.

Matilda Gustavsson from Dagens Nyheter is the Swedish press' answer to the New York journalists who covered the Harvey Weinstein case in America. It was she who wrote the well-known article about the 18 traumatized people who were all victims of the now convicted Jean-Claude Arnault. Gustavsson's insistent work sparked a heated MeToo discussion in Sweden.

In Denmark, the MeToo movement also made waves, but the debate was a little different here at home. Many of us had probably thought the debate on MeToo and sexism in the public media in Denmark had ebbed out. But now Sofie Linde has once again put it at the top of the agenda, and many have supported her statements by sharing their own experiences and messages of support.

On Tuesday 20 October 2020, you can experience Matilda Gustavsson in conversation at The Black Diamond. We are livestreaming the event to a number of public libraries - maybe your local library is among them? If not, you can also catch it on Facebook.
