In library binding with the monogram of King Frederik IX. On the spine: "I.P.E. Hartmann / Skander-/ borg / Fest-/marsch / Part."; however, the volume contains the complete music for the unveiling of the monument in memory of Frederik VI at Skanderborg. Written in brown ink. Paper: 24 staves (pp. 1-14; and 18 staves pp. 46-49). The pagination in the upper l/r hand corners is sporadic, but later the pages have been numbered consecutively 1-49 apart from p. 46 which is doubled. On p. 16 at the end of the Marsh signed and end-dated: "I:P:E: Hartmann / 24. Julii 1845." On. p. 45 at the end of No. 3 signed and end-dated: "I:P:E: Hartmann / 18. Julii 1845." Pages 46 (bis)-49 contain sketches. On p. 48 Hartmann has written: "Partituret laant til Erslev d: 31. Decbr 1845." Horneman & Erslev published a version of the March for four-hand piano in April 1846. On the last pages with separate pagination Christian Barnekow's autograph score for the version with choir for Musikforeningens concert in honour of J.P.E. Hartmann on 7 May 1895.
