GKS 3453 8º: Manual from Notmark

The manual contained instructions for the priest regarding the performing of baptisms, wedding and funerals. This manual was discovered in Notmark on the island of Als. It is not known whether the book was kept there during the Middle Ages, but it displays features that connect it to the Diocese of Odense. The existence of the book became known when King Frederik III visited Als in September 1669. The King took the book to Copenhagen, where it was placed in the library.
