Fragm. 2815: Festus, Breviarium

The inner part of the leaf has been damaged, and text lost. Including lacunae it contains the following text of Festus, Breviarium historiae populi Romani:

recto: "///am in exitium persice gentis ... diocletiano indignatione" (= Brev. XXII–XXV, ed. Eadie (1967) p. 63,17-65,15)

verso: "passuum cucurrerit purpurat/// ... milites ab in///" (= Brev. XXV–XXVII, ed. Eadie (1967) p. 65,16-67,6)

The fragment is not mentioned in the survey of manuscripts in J. W. Eadie’s critical edition of Festus’ Breviarium (London 1967), but is discussed in detail in his article published the same year (cf. below)
