Conditions of Payment
Net cash 21 days from date of invoice.
Use
Photographs or files of material from the Royal Library's collections may only be used for the given purpose and not handed over or lent for other purposes. Electronic storage must not take place without the permission from the Royal Library, except for electronic handling during the period which is necessary for the production in question. Material delivered from the Royal Library must be removed immediately after use from the buyer's electronic storage.
Copyright
Please note that material from the Royal Library may be legally protected by the Act on Copyright. Use against this may result in penalty and liability to pay compensation.
Reproduction fee
If images from the Royal Library's collections are used for commercial purposes a reproduction fee will be charged. For further information please contact the Photographic Studio.
Credits
When using material from the Royal Library's collections users must state clearly that the material originates from the Royal Library, preferably with a designation of which department.
Delivery
Delivery is 5-10 working days. An extra fee will be charged if a shorter time of delivery is requested. Larger orders, materials that are difficult to handle may all extend time of delivery.
CD-ROM and Internet publications
Photographs from The Royal Library's collections may only be published on CD-ROM or placed on the Internet if it is not against Act on Copyright and does not violate the work's literary or artistic content. It must be clearly stated that it originates from the Royal Library.
Digitization formats
Material such as texts, prints, pictures etc., digitized and published by The Royal Library on our website, will normally appear in a low resolution version, suitable for on-screen presentation and
Exclusive Right
No one can obtain exclusive right to publish pictures from The Royal Library's collections.
