Reserved lockers and desks

You may freely use the large number of study desks that the library places at the disposal of students and researchers
at our four service locations. Copenhagen University Library has study rooms at all four locations.

Students at the University of Copenhagen may now apply to reserve a locker. If you are writing your thesis, you
may apply to borrow a 'thesis' locker for 6 months; students at other levels may apply for a locker for 2 months.
 
This arrangement applies to several service locations: the Faculty Libraries in Humanities, Natural and Health Sciences, and Social Sciences. And in The Black Diamond.
 
How do you apply for a locker?
 
You reserve a locker in REX, our online catalogue.

• Write ”specialeskab” or ”skab” in the upper field
• Order the locker (skab)
• Indicate the time period during which you need a locker
• If the locker is available please contact the lending desk at the relevant service location the next day. The locker is reserved for you for 8 days. If we have your email, you will automatically get an email, when the locker is available.
• If the locker is in use, you will get a message either by mail or by post, when it is available.
• Bring your university ID card (KU-årskort)

The library assumes no responsibility for materials in the lockers.
 
If the key is not returned after the end of the period, or is lost, the library will charge a fee of DKK 350.
There are "morning-to-evening" wardrobe lockers at all locations.
