Lockers and study facilities
The library offers 272 study desks in different locations: quiet study rooms, it-free zones, group rooms and lounge seats.
Lockers with coin slots may only be used during the library's opening hours. This means that the keys are not to be brought home and that the lockers may be emptied overnight.
Regarding the lockers which can be borrowed for 2 months; you have to be a registred as a student at The University of Copenhagen to use these. The lockers can be booked through REX and "picked up" in the same way as books which has been ordered.
Regarding the lockers which can be borrowed for 6 months. These lockers are exclusively for students doing their thesis at the University of Copenhagen. The lockers can be booked through REX and "picked up" in the same way as ordered books. In order to pick up this type of locker you must bring a valid thesis contract.
How do you apply for a locker?
- Order the locker - 2 month (skab) / 6 month (specialeskab)
- If the locker is available please contact the lending desk at the relevant service location the next day. The locker is reserved for you for 8 days. If we have your email, you will automatically get an email, when the locker is available.
- If the locker is in use, you will get a message either by mail or by post, when it is available.
- Bring your university ID card (KU-årskort)

The library assumes no responsibility for materials in the lockers.
If the key is not returned after the end of the period, or is lost, the library will charge a fee of DKK 350.
There are "morning-to-evening" wardrobe lockers at all locations (deposit: dkk 10 - coin only)
