Google Scholar
Google Scholar makes it possible to search for scientific literature across publishers, web-resources and most of the big research libraries. KB's ressources are searchable in Goggle Scholar which makes it possible to gain full access to the text through The Royal Library's e-resources, as long as you are registered as user of the library an a student at the University of Copenhagen.
IBSS (requires logon)
International Bibliography of Social Sciences correspond in contents to the four continuously printed bibliographies which are published separately under the titles International Bibliography of Social and Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, Economics & Political Science. The British Library of Political and Economic Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science publish the bibliographies which have been printed since 1952.
International Political Science Abstracts (requires logon)
The database holds around 50.000 titles with abstracts from the most important journals within the field of Political Sciences - with a growth of approximately 6.300 a year. Most of the titles and the matching abstracts are in English. Titles in other languages have been translated into English and their abstracts are in French. The database is updated quarterly.
LIBRIS article database
LIBRIS article database is a Swedish article database that contains 65.000 Swedish articles mainly from the years 1993/94 onwards, it is however, possible to find older data. Entrance to the different sub databases is required through LIBRIS' Specialized databases.
Norart (requires logon)
Norart contains references to articles about the Norwegian conditions from more than 375 Norwegian journals and annuals, as well as some Nordic ones. It is possible to find references to all subjects but the focus is mainly on medical and social science relations as well as theology. This service includes the possibility for photocopy requests - fill out the ordinary requisition form from the Royal Library.
Proquest (requires logon)
Proquest Social Science Journals is a collection of electronic journals within the field of social sciences, that is offered through ProQuest Direct. Proquest Social Science Journals index more than 400 journals.
Web of Science (requires logon)
Bibliography consisting of the databases: Science Citation Index from 1900 - Social Sciences Citation Index from 1956 - Arts & Humanities Citation Index from 1975 onwards. Use "easy search" to search for a specific topic or the name of the author. Use "full search" to search in topics or to search for 'related articles', i.e. articles that share one or more references with the article that you have based your search upon. You can also use the "full search" for citation search to find more recent articles about the same topic as that of the background article.
Worldwide Political Science Abstracts (requires logon)
This online database provides access to references and abstracts as well as an index of the journals and running publications within the field of Social Sciences. Furthermore, the database contains data on supplementary subject areas such as international relations, Law and public administration.
