IT facilities

The Faculty Library has wireless connections throughout the building. You can either use The Royal Library-network, KB-net,
or the university-network EDUROAM.

At the library you have free access to computers. You can only use the printers, you are registrered as a user of the library (login is your user-id).

For copying and printing, you need a print- and -copy card. You can get print cards at the information desk. You can charge the card with money for prints via the webpay system.

You can also print by using your KU-id. This however, you can only do from your own laptop.

Printing from your own computer to KB printers
You can also set up your own computer to send prints to the KB printers.

If you use a laptop, you can send your print from both the library and from your home.

Your document will be saved in the KB print queue for 4 days maximum. This enables you to for example send a print from home on a Sunday, and print it at the library on a Wednesday.

Printing from your own computer to KU printers
Students taking classes at the Faculty of Social Sciences can use the university's wireless connection to print to KU printers placed at the CSS and GOT140. You will need to install a VPN client, and connect via your KU-id and a password given by SAMF-IT in the Users' Room at building 7.
