Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies

The Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies at the University of Copenhagen offers study programmes in history of religions, comparative cultural studies, minority studies, archaeology, prehistoric languages (Sanskrit, Pali, Sumerian, Akkadian, Ancient Egyptian, Coptic, Aztec), modern languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Tibetan, Chinese, Thai, Greenlandic, Modern Greek, Bulgarian, Polish and Russian).

Copenhagen University Library covers the field with subject specialists in Religion, and Slavic. Within Orientalistics and Jewish Studies the following cover the field: History before 1789, History after 1789, Religion, Language and literature, Cultural studies, Philosophy and Archeology.
