Crimes against our cultural heritage in an international perspective

Watson's most recent book describes the Medici case, which started when the Italian police found thousands of illegal items in Giacomo Medici's storage. Experts estimated that the items came from between 50 - 100 dig sites.  The Italian police have worked on the case since 1995. The investigation has involved respected experts from some of the finest museums in many countries – also Denmark.
