Space Series is a new concert series where, with a glass of wine in one hand, one can hear in the lofty atrium of The Black Diamond music from the impressive 12-channel loudspeaker system. At the same time, a group of visual designers will transform the interior space, so that sound, light and music blend into a total experience.

Electronic music by two young composers, Sebastian Edin and Filip Johan Arnested, is presented on the large loudspeaker system in the atrium of The Black Diamond. Works will also be played that have previously been performed on the system. This will include music by Fuzzy and Søs Gunvor Ryberg.

Wayne Siegel has developed a computer system that enables him to shift sound around in the large atrium of The Black Diamond with the aid of hand movements. Here he presents a live concert that features works specially designed for this space.

Obscura Vertigo puts the atrium under powerful video treatment when it projects images onto the walls of The Royal Library – just as it did in Music of the Spheres in 2016 (see photo) – adapted to the music composed for the 12 channel system of The Black Diamond.
